Heather Bartlett

Heather competed with the UVM gymnastics club where she was Treasurer and President. She is a member of NAIGC and USAG, and is both safety and CPR certified. At Regal, Heather coaches the JO Women’s team, various recreational programs, as well as summer camp and general choreography including tap dancing. She was named the 2010 Vermont Coach of the Year. Outside the gym, Heather has her B.S. in Biochemistry, and enjoys hobbies including baking, dancing, and reading.

I started gymnastics in the spring of 2008 and was enthralled by it from the start. Notably, I compete collegiately with the UVM gymnastics team. Here at Regal, I am a recreational coach and take pleasure in seeing development in young gymnasts. I was also a competitive figure skater, and competed at Sectionals during the fall of 2010. At school, I am majoring in Molecular Genetics. Also, my favorite hobby is reading.

I am currently a sophomore at UVM studying mechanical engineering and pre-med. I competed gymnastics all throughout high school in New Jersey on the JOGA team (Jersey Optional Gymnastics Association). I am now competing for a second year on the UVM Club Gymnastics Team. I am excited to be coaching recreational gymnastics at Regal Gymnastics Academy. When I am not in the gym I enjoy drawing and camping.

Anna Meehan
(Preschool Director and Teacher)
Anna lives in Jericho with her husband and three children. She has a B.A. in elementary education from Saint Michael’s College. She has worked for over 15 years with young children. She spent 8 years in Vermont public schools teaching kindergarten and first grade. Currently she is directing our preschool program where she has taught for the last 5 years. Anna continues learning through professional development opportunities and continuing education classes. When not at the preschool she can be found snowboarding, playing hockey and enjoying the outdoors with her family. Anna loves her position at the Balancing Act! Come visit our school and learn about our unique learning community.

Jenny Moltz
Jenny coaches Xcel and recreational classes at Regal. She is CPR and safety certified and has almost 10 years of coaching experience. Jenny grew up in Vermont and was a competitive Level 9 gymnast. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at UVM and plans to graduate in 2014. She also has her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Food Science. Outside of the gym and school, Jenny enjoys running, biking, and spending time with her family.

I am a native Vermonter and currently reside in Essex Junction with my husband Geoff and children, Kyle and Ashley. Kyle (18) will soon be heading to college and Ashley (10) is part of the Regal JO Competitive Team. My background consists of an Early Childhood degree from Champlain College and I have thirteen years of preschool teaching experience and behavior management skills. I currently work with children that display unique qualities and are on the spectrum. My role at Regal is mainly the Birthday Party Coordinator as well as Vacation Camp and Summer Camp staff. While I'm not at Regal, I enjoy watching movies, camping and enjoying time with family and friends.

Chrissy Ryan

I grew up in Colchester Vermont, where I reside today with my husband Craig, my daughters Molly and Maggie and my dog Max. I am a graduate of Springfield College located in Springfield, MA and I hold a BS in Business Management. My employment history includes banking, finance and education. I worked as a Credit Analyst until I decided to stay home with my girls, who both attended The Balancing Act Preschool. During that time, I began working at the preschool and gym in 2005 and today, I currently assist the Head Preschool Teacher. In my free time, I enjoy back yard BBQ’s, walking, camping, traveling, watching my kiddos play sports and socializing with my friends and family.

Kathleen Schmoldt

Kathleen was born and raised in Northern New Jersey. She is a graduate of Saint Michael’s College with a BA in Psychology and a graduate of Trinity College with a BA in Elementary Education. Kathleen’s experience with children is varied, working with many different ages - from birth to ten years - in a variety of different settings. She has been an infant and toddler teacher, summer camp counselor, special education assistant, after school assistant, kindergarten assistant and substitute elementary teacher. Kathleen also spent seven years as a kindergarten and first grade classroom teacher at Orchard Elementary School in South Burlington before leaving her position to become a stay at home mother to her two children, Kiley and Aidan. When Kathleen is not at school, she can be found spending time with her family and dogs, playing outside in the sunshine or working out at the gym.

I live in South Burlington with my Husband Warren and our two children, Julia (7) and Leela (1). Julia is a level 4 gymnast here at Regal and Leela is one of the tumble bugs. I'm a self proclaimed “domestic engineer” and love that fact that I can stay at home with my kids. I have a CDA in infant and toddler development. I also enjoy Bikram yoga and have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. My hobbies include gardening, hiking and knitting. I grew up on a farm in Jersytown Pennsylvania and loved taking care of all of our animals.

I am very excited to be working at Regal Gymnastics Academy! I am a senior psychology major, Spanish/sociology minor at the University of Vermont. I am from Chicago and also coach gymnastics in Illinois at the American Academy of Gymnastics and Dance. I was involved with gymnastics throughout elementary school and also participated in soccer for 12 years, along with numerous other sports including dance, ice skating, horseback riding, and tennis. I am currently a member of the UVM Gymnastics Club and I am also a nanny and a 4-year-member of the UVM Relay For Life Committee.
