Halley Parsonett

Halley Parsonnet is a senior at UVM, graduating in May, with a BA in Film and Television Studies and minors in Theatre and Sociology.  She is from Silver Spring, MD, a suburb of Washington, D.C.  Halley has been a competitive gymnast for 14 years, for Silver Stars Gymnastics in Silver Spring, MD, Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, and for the University of Vermont where she also served as team treasurer and president.  She has been coaching for eight years at Silver Stars, Sunburst Gymnastics in Union, NJ, and now at Regal.  She has coached children from 18months-18 years in rec classes, various team levels, many birthday parties, and classes for children with special needs.  At Regal, Halley coaches beginner girls and boys, and the PREP-Op team.  In the fall she will be beginning an AmeriCorps program in Rockville, MD working at the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes assisting young adults with special needs transition from the home life to the work life.
