Kathleen Schmoldt

Kathleen was born and raised in Northern New Jersey.  She is a graduate of Saint Michael’s College with a BA in Psychology and a graduate of Trinity College with a BA in Elementary Education.  Kathleen’s experience with children is varied, working with many different ages - from birth to ten years - in a variety of different settings.  She has been an infant and toddler teacher, summer camp counselor, special education assistant, after school assistant, kindergarten assistant and substitute elementary teacher.  Kathleen also spent seven years as a kindergarten and first grade classroom teacher at Orchard Elementary School in South Burlington before leaving her position to become a stay at home mother to her two children, Kiley and Aidan.  Now back working full time, she is thrilled to be teaching at The Balancing Act.  When Kathleen is not at school, she can be found spending time with her family and dogs, playing outside in the sunshine or working out at the gym.  Stop by and introduce yourself to Kathleen and find out more about her exciting preschool program!
